iPhone Magic...

As much as I enjoy life behind the camera, it's not always practical to carry one with me -- I'm often amazed at the magic that can be captured with just a phone...

The photo below was captured with an iPhone 11 -- and it's unedited. 

I love the richness of the blues, the way the light shines on the cable post. I don't even mind the people I caught at the base, because that's representative of city life. I didn't spend time posing this picture. I was walking to the Highlands in Denver with friends for dinner and I happened to turn quickly to catch a glimpse of the city glimmer behind us and it caught my breath for a second and I wanted to capture it. I didn't worry about the "perfect" shot or having the right camera, all I knew was that I wanted to capture this moment. 

I want to encourage you to do the same -- capture those moments -- they're fleeting so don't overthink it. See, point, click. It's as simple as that -- or at least it should be.
